Job Summary
Principal Systems Administrator based in Andover, MA, responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, patching, and troubleshooting Windows and RHEL enterprise environments within a 24x7x365 DoD-level, on-site environment. Collaborates across Digital Technology, Engineering, Cyber Security, Networking, Storage, and Tools teams to meet program objectives, ensure STIG/SCAP compliance, and maintain continuous security posture. Will administer VMware ESXi/vCenter, Active Directory and Group Policy, certificate-based authentication, and integrated services; perform log collection, vulnerability remediation, and regulatory compliance activities in coordination with Cyber Security. Role requires active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, on-site work, occasional after-hours support, and up to 10% travel. Full-time onsite position with relocation eligibility per policy, and a salary range of $86,800–$165,200/year.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- Experience configuring, administering, securing, and hardening Windows and RHEL servers
- Experience with VMware virtualization
- Experience with enterprise Windows services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity integration
