Job Summary
Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment supporting information systems and manage virtualized environments. Resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope involving hardware and operating system integration, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication. Install and configure software applications for end users while collaborating with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements. Utilize industry best practices for data backup and restore, and obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification within six months. Systems operate 24x7 with occasional work beyond standard hours; travel to domestic locations is required up to 10% annually. Full-time onsite position in Tucson, AZ, requiring active Secret clearance prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- University degree
- 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- 3 years of experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance
- Linux or Windows experience
- Active Directory experience
- VMware experience
- Networking administration experience
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for work beyond standard work hours
- Must be able to travel to other US Domestic locations up to 10% per year
- Must be able to work 100% Onsite
- Must obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Containerization Technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher
- Experience with Continuous Integration\Continuous Delivery Tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF
- Experience with networking administration, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods
- Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment
