Job Summary
Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist in Rolling Meadows, IL. Responsible for on-time requirement release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedules; manage material budget for contract requirements; support baselining/EVMS; forecast material cost/performance (Cognos, CMEs, IPRS); identify and manage program risks and opportunities related to material requirements; analyze lead times to identify critical-path procurements; monitor supplier capacity and production issues; maintain strong business acumen in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment; travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field OR Master’s degree and minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field
- SAP experience or other ERP experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance
