Job Summary
Lead supply chain program management in partnership with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to drive execution, alignment with commodity strategies, and supply base optimization on a key Missile Defense Program. Identify pain points using hands-on, cross-functional approaches to drive best-in-class processes and efficiencies. Track and coordinate program deliverables, highlight key risks, and implement mitigation plans while managing supplier capacity, material flow, and inventory optimization. Provide technical support for design-for-manufacturability by reviewing engineering changes and assessing supply chain impacts. Manage supplier relationships and performance to achieve program and customer requirements, while developing and tracking customized supply chain metrics. Fully understand customer mission gaps and communicate the company's technical value proposition. Travel to domestic supplier facilities an average of 40%-50%. Requires an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience, OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.
- Active DoW Top Secret Clearance
- Ability to travel to supplier facilities (anticipated average of 40%-50%, primarily domestic locations)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the following contract types: FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursement (w/fixed-fee, incentive fee or award fee)
- Experience as Cost Account Manager for Subcontracts managing budgets and sales forecasting
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
