Job Summary
Lead supplier development and qualification activities for new products and cost-reduction efforts, conduct technical assessments of suppliers for manufacturing capability and risk, oversee supplier performance and quality events (onsite and remote), and support for make/buy decisions and security of supply. Role requires applying Nuclear Safety Culture Traits and Human Performance Tools, managing project schedules, approving supplier process documents, performing process capability analyses, and authoring technical documents. 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing, knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining), ASME standards, PFMEAs, and experience with quality plans and CPS analysis. 100% remote role with a base salary range of $103,200-$129,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of progressive experience in engineering/manufacturing
- Knowledge in manufacturing processes, e.g. CNC machining
- Experience performing process capability analysis (Cpk) and qualification
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans, PFMEAs
- Read drawings and specifications made to ASME standards
