Job Summary
Lead structural engineering and integrity projects across mining and heavy industrial assets in Queensland. Deliver structural inspections, condition evaluations, and remediation recommendations while undertaking concept and detailed design for mining infrastructure. Provide technical leadership for steel and concrete structures and fixed plant, developing life extension strategies for ageing assets. Mentor team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to drive growth in structural integrity capability. Build client relationships and support proposals for continued engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
- RPEQ or eligibility to obtain RPEQ registration
- Extensive experience within mining, resources, heavy industry, or asset-intensive environments
- Strong background in structural engineering design of steel and concrete structures
- Experience undertaking structural inspections, integrity assessments, and remedial engineering
- Knowledge of Australian structural design standards
- Experience working directly with operational mining assets and brownfield environments
- Strong client engagement and business development skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- A passion for mentoring and developing technical teams
