Job Summary
Principal Structural Engineer leads regulatory certification for interior aircraft components, prepares cert plans and reports, coordinates with DERs/ODAs/DOAs/OEMs/FAA/CAAs, conducts reviews of complex analyses and tests, develops documentation, communicates with customers to understand technical requirements, identifies new business opportunities, and participates in continuous improvement initiatives; role requires onsite work in Winston-Salem, NC with up to 10% travel and a strong background in certification/testing of airplane interiors.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems
