Job Summary
Lead mid-large structural engineering projects from concept to handover, controlling commercial, managerial, and technical aspects while delivering on quality, time, and budget. Manage a team of engineers and technicians designing building infrastructure schemes, performing analyses and calculations to ensure work meets appropriate technical standards and programme constraints. Provide high-level value engineering expertise, source fee proposals, and compile technical reports for clients across sectors including Defence, Justice, Healthcare, and Education. Ensure all quality, environmental, and sustainability aspects are identified and addressed to maintain effective project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Structural Engineer
- Active UK SC Clearance or the ability to gain UK SC clearance
- Single UK nationality
- Graduate in Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Experience of Structural Engineering in directly relevant fields
- Experience seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with Clients
- Knowledge of governing structural design standards Eurocodes, BS, Building Regs etc
- Commercial experience
- Must be a Chartered Engineer

- Team player, ready to engage across disciplines and work together
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills
- Extensive experience in Structural Engineering as a project leader, including developing detailed design drawings and calculations, specification writing, and compiling technical reports
- Proven track record in Structural Engineering, having worked across a number of sectors, for example, Defence, Justice, Education, Commercial, Healthcare, etc
- Track record of having delivered sustainable designs
- Any Justice sector or equivalent experience
