Job Summary
Principal Structural Design Engineer responsible for leading design delivery of bridges and transportation structures on multiple high-profile projects in Dubai. Responsibilities include leading technical delivery and reviews, delivering high-quality designs, identifying innovative solutions and value engineering, planning, allocating and coordinating resources, liaising with Project Managers and Discipline Leads to manage delivery schedules and interfaces, presenting to Clients and Approving Authorities for design matters and approvals, providing clear direction to the design team, and supporting recruitment. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a minimum of 10 years’ post-graduate experience in bridge design delivery, strong written and oral English, and a commitment to technical excellence and high-quality delivery. Desired: experience in UAE/GCC, experience with cut and cover tunnels, and experience in ISO 19650 BIM-enabled environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 10 years' post-graduate work experience in design delivery of bridges
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, in English
