Job Summary
Requirements analysis, derivation, and management; mission engineering, modeling, and analysis; architecture and CONOPS development; systems modeling and simulation; functional analysis; timeline analysis; trade studies; technical planning; cost and risk analysis; interface definition; system design; system integration and test; verification and validation planning and execution; supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. This role supports concept and product development to deliver key solutions for classified and unclassified space missions, utilizing tools such as DOORS, STK, Cameo, Rhapsody, MATLAB, and Python. The position requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance within scope and the ability to obtain SCI approval.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
- Systems engineering experience (i.e. requirements, mission engineering, architecture, modeling and simulation, integration and test, verification and validation)
- Bachelor Degree in STEM curriculum
- 5 years relevant experience (for Principal Engineer)
- 3 years with MS Degree (for Principal Engineer)
- 8 years relevant experience (for Sr Principal Engineer)
- 6 years with MS Degree (for Sr Principal Engineer)
- PhD with 0 years of experience (for Principal Engineer)
- PhD with 3 years of experience (for Sr Principal Engineer)
- U.S. Citizenship
