Job Summary
Set up cost control systems and monitor Earned Value Management (EVMS) costs on contracts to ensure adherence to negotiated parameters and government guidelines. Prepare budgets, funding profiles, and variance analyses while maintaining accurate expenditure records and projecting future funding needs. Incorporate contractual changes into control systems to maintain realistic baselines and guide Control Account Managers through EVMS activities, including time-phasing and estimate-to-complete analysis. Coordinate monthly EVM artifacts and trip wire reviews to support program execution and compliant implementation. Work on-site in Huntsville with up to 10% travel required, holding a DoD Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years related experience
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 3 years of related experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management and/or EVMS Software
- Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills, specifically the ability to work with pivot tables, lookup functions, and conditional formatting
- Must be able to work on-site at either location (Huntsville, AL)
- Must be able to travel as required (up to 10% of the time)
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 6 years of related experience
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Defense Industry Experience
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data and figures
- Experience with Deltek Cobra and/or SAP (or similar business systems)
- Prior program cost control experience
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
