Job Summary
Lead product protection programs for Foreign Object Detection, Electro-Static Discharge, and 6S lean methodology as the prime technical contact for the Salt Lake City Manufacturing team. Manage continuous improvement projects, perform risk assessments, and develop Standard Shop Practices while supporting audits and cross-functional indirect leadership. Collaborate with site managers on training, implementation, and sustainment of site programs, and research procurement of supplies and equipment. Represent manufacturing to senior leadership, suppliers, and stakeholders. Requires Secret clearance, US citizenship, and experience with AS9100 certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 5 years or a Master's degree in STEM discipline with 3 years of experience
- Understanding of electro-static principles and electro-static sensitive devices
- Knowledge or experience working in a facility with FOD Critical protocol
- Knowledge and/or experience of 6S lean methodology principles
- Knowledge and experience with AS9100 certification requirements
- Cross-functional project management experience
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance
