Job Summary

Budget and track spending for Tooling material and labor, analyzing financial trends and variances to identify risks and recommend corrective actions. Develop, analyze, and maintain estimates to completion while performing monthly budget, EAC, actuals, and variance analysis for leadership briefings. Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Business Management to ensure effective communication and manage departmental procurement requests. Prepare and present project status reports, tracking weekly actuals against monthly and yearly targets. This 1st shift position operates on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, requiring onsite presence in Clearfield, UT. The role supports the Tooling organization within Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, a world-class manufacturer of aircraft structures for military applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience OR PhD and 0 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD and 4 years of experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Must have current and active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have the ability to obtain Program Access Request (PAR) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System)
  • Experience with being highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience in an engineering, aerospace, and/or manufacturing environment
