Job Summary
Principal Electrical Engineer / Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program, located in Roy, UT. Responsibilities include coordinating electrical system engineering content, creating interconnect diagrams, reviewing electrical deliverables (one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, data sheets, and trade studies), supporting system design and integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires active DoD Secret Clearance, US citizenship, and ability to obtain SAP approval; travel up to 10% and relocation assistance may be available. Demonstrates leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience with electrical design across multiple facilities and interpretations of system interdependencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of experience for Principal Engineer Electrical or 9 years for Sr. Principal Engineer Electrical
- or 0 years with a PhD for Sr. Principal? (as stated)
- US Citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval
- Experience leading people with critical deadlines
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Experience reading engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
