Job Summary
Principal Specialist, Program Cost Control Analyst (Remote) focused on supporting the I&IP finance team for the IFF Airborne Transponder product line. Responsibilities include developing program financials with time-phased budgets and schedules, Earned Value data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and oversight of cost/schedule integration, EAC/ETC/LRE development, budgeting, forecasting, internal/external reporting, risk management, and coordination of Work Breakdown Structures. The role involves mentoring junior analysts, providing Earned Value training, and collaborating with program finance leadership, program management, and cross-functional partners. Requires university degree (or equivalent) and substantial experience in program cost controls, EVM, and related financial planning tools. Remote work is supported with occasional travel to sites as needed. Benefits and compensation reflect a salary range of $86,800–$165,200 USD with comprehensive offerings.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience or Advanced Degree with 3+ years
- 2+ years Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
- Experience with EAC development
- Proficiency with SAP, APEX, PRISM, or similar ERP/financial systems
- Excel (Lookup/Index/Sum, Pivot Tables)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment
- Desire to mentor junior analysts
- Ability to develop time-phased budgets and schedules
- Experience with EV data compliance and reporting
- Knowledge of cost accounting and labor/non-labor inputs
- Understanding of WBS and job cost accumulation
- Financial forecasting and risk management
