Job Summary
Lead indirect and direct purchasing at the Troy, Ohio manufacturing site, managing the full procurement lifecycle from supplier evaluation and RFQ/RFP processes to purchase order execution in SAP. Drive value engineering efforts with key suppliers, implement lean and six-sigma purchasing procedures, and ensure timely, accurate invoicing while maintaining all purchasing records and reports. Provide remote support to multiple sites and assist in implementing site-specific supply chain initiatives, with up to 20% travel required. This role supports the Operations team's mission to strengthen connections across manufacturing, supply chain, and health & safety functions.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- minimum 3 years experience
- Experience with purchasing and suppliers negotiation
- Travel up to 20% required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience sourcing direct and indirect materials
- Scheduling experience
- Project Management & contract review experience
- Knowledge of Lean Principles and six-sigma
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- SAP and MRP experience
