Job Summary
Principal Procurement Specialist for Government Interiors Seating based in Colorado Springs, CO. Lead government-supply chain and commodity management for component/sub-assembly sourcing, collaborate with commodity managers to set and execute strategy, negotiate supplier contracts, prepare and issue RFPs in support of government pursuits, ensure compliance with FARS/DFARS, manage transitions between incumbents, gather documentation, and prepare compliance packages. Will work closely with suppliers and internal teams, analyze data, and travel up to 10% as required. This onsite role emphasizes supplier relations, contract awards, data analytics (Excel/Access/SAP), and cross-functional coordination to support government-direct product requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 3 years experience
