Job Summary
Monitor system health metrics and key performance indicators weekly and monthly to drive data-driven decision making for material availability. Provide support to team and leadership for reporting and analysis as required by internal customers. Manage a team of intermediate or experienced leads while executing day-to-day material requirements and creating processes that align purchased materials with manufacturing value streams. Interface with Demand Planning, Production Control, Factory Operations, Program Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure efficient resource utilization across low volume, high mix programs. Foster a working environment promoting safety, security, compliance, and quality while achieving customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Finance
- Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
Desired Qualifications
- MRP, SAP PRISM experience
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
- Experience working across multiple business areas and interfacing at all levels of an organization
- Experience coordinating with various disciplines
- Experience with analysis, prioritizing, and working under pressure
