Job Summary
Manage materials provided by suppliers on the Naval Radars Supply Chain Team, bridging Supply Chain and Program teams to execute strategies that meet cost, quality, and scheduled targets. Partner with procurement to ensure suppliers satisfy contractual, technical, and schedule requirements, while assisting with Requests for Proposals and Quotes. Prepare status presentations for daily, weekly, and monthly program reviews, and maintain the integrity of the Master Production Schedule by balancing supply and demand. Own the supplier and finance management process, including risk assessment, metrics, and material sales forecasts, while proactively addressing urgent tasking such as purchase order follow-up and sole source justifications. Communicate program status and resolution plans across stakeholders, including senior management, customers, and suppliers, with domestic travel to suppliers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance
- University degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced degree in a related field
- 3 years experience (if advanced degree)
- 5 years experience in a supply chain role and/or program/project management
- 2 years experience working with suppliers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Subcontracts, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing
- Supply chain experience in the defense industry
- Experience in Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. SAP, Power Bi, Kinaxis RapidResponse)
