Job Summary
Develop and implement material strategies, including forecasting and supplier assessments, to ensure cost and schedule requirements are met for Naval Standard Missile Systems production. Manage Global Supply Chain Management activities by evaluating metrics to monitor supply chain health and developing support for ROMs and proposals. Drive processes to successful completion of deliveries at an increasing rate while increasing operational efficiencies and managing multiple conflicting priorities with supplier managers. Work independently in a cross-functional team environment to influence decisions and resolve conflicts, ensuring the supply chain has the capability, staffing, and production planning to meet contracted deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance
- A University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- An Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years prior relevant experience
- Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
- Material forecasting experience
Desired Qualifications
- EVMS certification
- Lead program management efforts, address issues, and resolve conflicts
- Financial knowledge
- The mechanics of strong supplier negotiations
- How to influence an acceptance in execution of cost reduction opportunities
- Experience managing suppliers or projects
- Experience supporting Supplier production readiness efforts / capacity assessments
