Job Summary
Oversee data platform operation and enhancement at AIA Digital+. Responsibilities include monitoring platform performance and proposing enhancement proposals, coordinating with internal/external IT parties to resolve issues, IT compliance support (disaster recovery, configuration review), security controls and policy implementation, software configuration/patching/testing, standardizing data analysis/workflow execution, database/workflow performance tuning, and driving modernization of how Finance data assets are stored and accessed. Provide training and mentorship to team members; stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest best practices in database management. Requires 5+ years IT experience, familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, experience with replication/sharding/clustering, understanding of big data domains, and fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years+ IT experience
- minimum of 2 years in database applications related projects
- Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with database replication, sharding, clustering, and housekeeping
- Basic understanding on big data area (Data Acquisition and Ingestion, Data storage, Data Processing, Data Analytics and Visualization, Data management and Governance, Data integration and Interoperability, Cloud Computing, AI)
- Fluent English in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking
