Job Summary

Oversee critical infrastructure design and operations for approximately 200 Tier 2 and 3 Critical Facilities worldwide, ensuring 100% uptime of the Bank's most critical assets. Review and approve Corporate Real Estate change control processes, develop infrastructure design standards, and manage compliance for global facilities. Provide technical recovery support during critical building environmental outages and interface with client senior managers in T&O, GCIB, and Call Centers to insure proper use of scarce critical infrastructure. Drive adoption of engineering processes, including DCIM and automation solutions, while partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors to support infrastructure upgrades and technology deployments. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives by implementing strategies to reduce PUE and carbon footprint.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Center, Critical Systems, or related infrastructure engineering disciplines
  • Strong working knowledge of data center critical infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and/or structured cabling systems
  • Engineering or technical discipline background
  • Experience supporting budgets and cost controls for data center projects and infrastructure operations
  • Exposure to capital projects and vendor cost management
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Real Estate, Critical Systems, Construction, and Technology teams
  • Proven ability to lead or significantly contribute to data center infrastructure engineering and design activities
  • Experience interpreting design standards
  • Experience supporting technical contract requirements
  • Ability to identify implementation risks
  • Experience delivering technical solutions that meet defined availability, redundancy, quality, and budget requirements
  • Track record of leading or managing projects with measurable impact on infrastructure reliability, efficiency, or standardization
  • Experience applying established engineering standards, operational procedures, and best practices
  • Experience contributing to continuous process improvements within the organization
  • Professional experience working within a large, complex, and preferably global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and functions
  • Experience managing or working closely with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams

  • Experience including testing and validation of mechanical, electrical, fire suppression, and control systems
  • Experience supporting data center operations
  • Experience with utilization, efficiency, resiliency, and failover analysis of critical systems
  • Foundational understanding of network design and layout
  • Understanding as it relates to data center infrastructure and physical deployment
