Job Summary
Principal Solutions Architect at Retool: hands-on role delivering full-stack Retool solutions, building applications, integrating Retool into customer stacks, advising on end-to-end architectures, and guiding system integration partners. You will scope, estimate, and help sell professional services engagements, develop new service offerings, and act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners while shaping the PS program and scalable delivery. Strong emphasis on customer-facing delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and clear technical communication to translate requirements into production-grade solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in technical, customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Customer Engineer, or Deployed Engineer
- Hands-on experience with full-stack development, including SQL, JavaScript, APIs, and Python
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems
- Exceptional technical communication skills, translating customer requirements between business and technical teams to drive successful implementations
- Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot issues, and provide real-time solutions during technical discussions
- Comfortable with open-ended problem-solving in unstructured environments
