Principal Solutions Architect | Lab Orchestration

Senior technical authority responsible for defining and governing end-to-end solution architectures that connect scientific informatics, data pipelines, and physical lab execution environments. Shape end-to-end architectures spanning applications, data, integrations, identity, environments, and operations; design lab orchestration that bridges digital and physical lab activities from planning to instrument execution; ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, resilience, observability, and maintainability. Architect integrations using technologies like Apache NiFi, APIs, batch pipelines, and event-driven patterns; plan data ingestion, transformation, and migration for high-frequency, heterogeneous lab data; enable seamless transitions from study design to instrument execution with Luma as the orchestration layer. Engage with customers, IT leadership, and partner ecosystems; provide leadership and enablement across solution architects, delivery partners, and system integrators; leverage Databricks for scalable data analytics and ensure data lineage, auditability, and regulatory compliance across the data lifecycle. Familiarity with ELN/LIMS/SDMS/PLM/ERP/MES ecosystems, lab automation schedulers, and lab connectivity standards (SiLA2, LADS, OPC-UA). This role emphasizes leadership, architectural governance, and collaboration with Siemens and partner networks to deliver scalable, secure, and operable lab orchestration solutions.
