Job Summary
Design and guide enterprise-wide technology solutions for Dell Medical School, translating strategic vision into actionable roadmaps for clinical, research, operational, and facility environments. Develop integration architectures across EHR platforms, ERP systems, medical devices, imaging systems, and cloud infrastructure while establishing governance standards and escalation models. Collaborate with leadership, clinical leaders, and construction partners to define requirements, drive adoption of architectural principles, and oversee project execution for major IT initiatives and new healthcare facility activations. Evaluate emerging technologies, ensure regulatory compliance, and produce executive-level materials to communicate platform strategy and long-term roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of eight years of experience developing and overseeing solution architecture, enterprise systems design, or IT strategy
- Experience in vendor relationship management
- Experience leading IT transformational initiatives in complex environments
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field
- Minimum of ten years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution design
- Experience supporting the planning, design, activation, or opening of new healthcare facilities, smart hospitals, or digital hospitals, including technology design and activation initiatives
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise architectures that integrate medical devices, biomedical equipment, imaging systems, and clinical technologies within healthcare environments
- Familiarity with healthcare device interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and related integration technologies
- Experience with EHR systems such as Epic, ERP platforms, cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure, DICOM, and healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR
- TOGAF Certification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- SAFe Architect Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
