Job Summary
Own end-to-end architecture for Salesforce-centric solutions supporting student engagement across complex, multi-system environments. Design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures aligned with business goals, leading design efforts for Salesforce implementations, integrations, and cloud services using Apex, Lightning, and REST APIs. Architect and oversee supporting cloud-native services on Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker while defining data architecture, migration strategies, and security controls. Contribute hands-on development for high-impact initiatives, mentor engineers, and resolve production issues through root-cause analysis. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, well-architected technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
- proven experience as a Solutions Architect
- Deep expertise in Salesforce development and platform architecture (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning)
- Strong experience designing and integrating .NET-based services
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including APIM, Azure Service Bus, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Strong command of software design principles, architectural patterns, and system-level tradeoffs
- Experience designing and executing data migration and integration strategies
- Demonstrated ability to own architecture from design through production
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing event-driven and asynchronous integration architectures
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and production readiness
- Experience working in agile, iterative delivery environments
- Prior experience mentoring engineers or serving as a technical lead
