Job Summary
Principal Solutions Architect to educate customers, build trusted relationships, and guide strategic opportunities for Red Hat’s North America Telco team. Architect Red Hat open source solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments for top cables accounts; deliver presentations and live demos, manage complex demos and proofs of concept, and advocate customer priorities with internal product teams. Requires 10+ years in sales engineering/solutions architecture, strong Linux experience, DevOps and cloud expertise, open source background, and ability to travel up to 50%. Remote-US locations available (Philadelphia, PA; Denver, CO; or any US location for the right candidate). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience as a sales engineer, solutions architect, or equivalent role with large enterprise accounts
- Extensive knowledge in DevOps, microservices, cloud platforms, software defined storage, container platform and orchestration, virtualization (including NFV)
- Hybrid cloud experience
- 5+ years of Linux system administration and integration
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
