Job Summary
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for the testing process while staying current with relevant approaches. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to provide technical guidance, unblock issues, and resolve problems across squads. Mentor and coach team members, enforce testing standards, and drive continuous improvement in manual and automated testing. Communicate progress, risks, and issues to project managers, developers, and stakeholders. Lead the implementation of automation proficiency and modernize the testing function to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable software delivery for Conferma's payment systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of related experience
- Degree in Engineering / equivalent certifications
- Proven commercial experience in testing across multiple phases in an enterprise Agile environment
- Proven commercial experience using Postman and Playwright
- Demonstratable expertise in leading manual and automated testing using a variety of tools and approaches
- Demonstrable expertise in leading Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, Accessibility Testing, Penetration Testing, Security Testing and other appropriate test phases
- A strong background in mentoring, coaching and leading testers at different of levels of experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of industry best practices, test processes and methodologies and experience applying and enforcing these across multiple teams
- Understanding and experience of adhering to third party standards in areas such as security and accessibility
- Proven experience leading the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable solutions
