Job Summary
Own technical design and end-to-end delivery of departmental projects, partnering with Product and Engineering Management to translate objectives into concrete software solutions. Tackle complex engineering problems through significant code contributions, prototyping, and deep-dive troubleshooting to de-risk features while maintaining codebase mastery. Lead "agent-augmented delivery" by integrating autonomous agents and AI-assisted workflows into daily engineering cycles. Strengthen departmental expertise through coaching, paired delivery, and onboarding new engineers. Drive operational excellence by proactively leading systems improvements and cross-departmental initiatives to shape technical strategy and engineering culture at the organizational level.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in agentic systems, AI-driven SDLC, or autonomous agent integration within engineering organizations
- Proven experience developing solutions for regulated financial institutions or the payments/fintech space
- Proven track record of reporting to a Head of Engineering (or higher) and initiating impactful technical improvements across a department
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 'agent-augmented delivery' concept
- Experience leading 'agent-augmented delivery' through practical implementation, ensuring the successful integration of autonomous agents and AI-assisted workflows directly into our engineering teams' daily delivery cycles
- Experience in building a deep understanding of departmental domains quickly
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with clear proof points for inspiring teams and influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
- Experience shaping and contributing to company-wide strategy and leading teams through the aligned change management journey
- Experience leveraging new tools and methods to take delivery, quality, or engineering excellence to the next level
