Job Summary
Principal Engineer focusing on UX Design Systems to lead architecture, quality, and adoption of an enterprise design system. Responsibilities include translating UX principles into scalable, reusable, accessible design system assets (design tokens, component libraries, theming, UX standards), ensuring production-readiness and consistency across Desktop, Web, and Mobile ecosystems, and collaborating closely with designers. Requires hands-on work with PrimeNG or equivalent UI libraries, HTML5/CSS3/TypeScript, design-to-development workflows in Figma, and a strong emphasis on accessibility (WCAG) and governance of design systems. Preferred exposure to AI-enabled UX patterns and cross-application workflows within Asset Management Technology Foundations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Extensive experience building and scaling enterprise design systems (tokens, theming, component libraries, governance)
- Hands-on experience with design systems assets (design tokens, theming, component libraries)
- Experience with PrimeNG or equivalent UI libraries
- Deep expertise with Figma and modern design-to-development workflows
- Experience driving UX consistency across multi-application platforms (Desktop, Web, Mobile)
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript for scalable UI systems
- Experience with accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design
- Ability to translate UX design into reusable, systemized engineering assets
- Experience extending component frameworks to align with enterprise UX standards
- Familiarity with AI tooling in design system lifecycle (e.g., Figma AI, Copilot) and UX validations
- Understanding of API-driven UI integration and shared platform services
- Strong collaboration with designers to ensure design-implementation fidelity
- Ability to create prototypes and UX validations
