Job Summary
Shape technical strategy by partnering with leadership to align engineering roadmaps with overarching business goals and accelerate hiring outcomes. Drive cross-functional priorities by collaborating with product managers to surface trade-offs and ensure engineering decisions support precision and speed. Navigate complex environments across multi-product teams to identify consolidation opportunities and maintain technical consistency. Execute high-impact backend development in Go, .NET, and TypeScript while leveraging AI to refactor code and generate robust test suites. Lead architectural evaluations for scalable systems, manage incident response, and champion code quality standards through rigorous code reviews and design feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- demonstrated track record of leading and executing technically complex, high-impact initiatives from inception through delivery
- Recent experience working on a small, agile team contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle in a start-up environment
- Primary experience in Go
- comfortable working across existing .NET and TypeScript codebases
- Experience implementing event-driven architecture within microservices ecosystems using tools like Apache Kafka
- Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Strong experience with AWS platforms, including an understanding of their capabilities and limitations
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Proven ability to operate across organizational lines
