Job Summary
Design and develop highly scalable web applications and cloud-native microservices using C#, Node.js, and TypeScript to enable Solera's SmartDrive® platform. Lead design reviews, code reviews, and release planning while partnering with front-end, data, and product teams to deliver performance across all platforms. Diagnose and resolve cross-platform stability issues, champion new technology introductions, and mentor engineers on best practices. Represent technical strategies to internal teams and external partners. Requires 12+ years of technical leadership experience, proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker, and hands-on GenAI integration including LLMs and RAG.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 12+ years of strong development and technical leadership experience
- 10+ years of significant experience with NodeJS, C# applications, and microservice technologies
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with data access layers for SQL and NoSQL systems
- GenAI: Hands-on work in GenAI over the last 1–3 years, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, Agentic AI, orchestration frameworks, and inference optimization
- Experience supporting a platform transition while tactically diagnosing and solving challenges in complex legacy software stacks
- Strong API designer, with a demonstrated history of working effectively with front-end, data engineering, quality, and operations teams
- Broad full-stack experience consisting of Front-End, Services, and Data layers
- Experience with designing, planning, and implementing back-end services/microservices, and APIs
- Experience with Node.js, C#, ASP.NET, TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience driving agile teams and leveraging SCM, CI/CD, and robust build/test/profiling automation (Git, Jenkins, NPM, Spinnaker)
- Experience with web and public/private cloud services (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx/Apache)
- Demonstrated history of developing frameworks that are effectively leveraged by other developers
- Designed and built GenAI-powered applications using foundation models, RAG pipelines, and agent-based architectures

- Expert in modern software development practices in multiple languages and environments
- Strong experience with microservices architecture patterns
- Proven track record of building cloud-native applications
- Partnering with front-end, data, product, QA, operations, and other technical team leads in design, test, release planning, and coordination
- Mentoring engineers in technologies, patterns, and best practices while leading by example in your areas of expertise
- Diagnosing, characterizing, and addressing performance, scale, and cross-platform stability issues
- Leading design reviews and code reviews for components and systems
- Prototyping and championing new technology introductions to the platform
- Effectively representing our technical capabilities and strategies to diverse internal teams, as well as to external partners and customer
