Job Summary
Design and develop highly scalable web applications and microservices in the cloud using C#, Node.js, and React. Spearhead the design, development, and delivery of services that enable all Solera products while partnering with cross-functional teams on release planning and coordination. Mentor engineers in technologies and best practices, lead design and code reviews, and diagnose performance and stability issues across platforms. Champion new technology introductions and represent technical strategies to internal and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 12+ years of strong development and technical leadership experience
- 10+ years of significant experience with NodeJS, C# applications, and microservice technologies
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with data access layers for SQL and NoSQL systems
- Expert in modern software development practices in multiple languages and environments
- Broad full-stack experience consisting of Front-End, Services, and Data layers
- Experience with designing, planning, and implementing back-end services/microservices, and APIs
- Experience with Node.js, C#, ASP.NET, TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience driving agile teams and leveraging SCM, CI/CD, and robust build/test/profiling automation (Git, Jenkins, NPM, Spinnaker)
- Experience with web and public/private cloud services (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx/Apache)
- Demonstrated history of developing frameworks that are effectively leveraged by other developers
- Designed and built GenAI-powered applications using foundation models, RAG pipelines, and agent-based architectures
- Hands-on work in GenAI over the last 1–3 years, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, Agentic AI, orchestration frameworks, and inference optimization
- Experience supporting a platform transition while tactically diagnosing and solving challenges in complex legacy software stacks
- Strong API designer, with a demonstrated history of working effectively with front-end, data engineering, quality, and operations teams
