Staff Engineer leading core platform domains for secure AI agent infrastructure, including agent identity, authentication, authorization, and secrets management. Own architectural direction across services, mentor engineers, drive high-impact implementations, and document decisions to ensure consistency. Build a platform from the ground up at the cutting edge of AI, identity, and security, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend and systems with a track record of owning large-scale or security-critical systems end-to-end
- Experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-based architectures that are secure, scalable, and reliable
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience or strong interest in identity, authentication, authorization, and secrets management, applied to AI and agent frameworks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, make high-impact technical decisions, and guide others through complex tradeoffs
- Clear and effective communication, influencing decisions, and mentoring engineers across multiple functions
- Self-driven, proactive, and organized with a focus on delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions
- Willingness to work in a role that combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership
