Job Summary
Principal Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Accelerator, focused on getting smart ideas into customers’ hands. Responsibilities include establishing and refining the SDLC with testing strategy, automation, CI/CD and code quality gates; designing a release strategy for frequent, stable releases; defining and evolving React Native/Expo mobile architecture for a mass-market consumer application; delivering a modular core platform enabling rapid, reliable feature iteration; and recruiting, mentoring, and leading a lean, high-impact engineering team.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on React engineering concepts
- Proven delivery of commercial React Native applications in production across Android & iOS at scale
- Deep understanding of React Native and Expo internals
- Latest knowledge of architecture, tooling and best practices in mobile app development
- Mastery of TypeScript
- Experience optimizing large codebases
- Hands-on knowledge of mobile build & release systems
- Strong grasp of architecture patterns
- Published React Native app(s) in public app stores (preferred)
- Native Kotlin and/or Swift experience (preferred)
- Kotlin Multiplatform exposure (preferred)
