Job Summary
Principal Software Engineer responsible for developing advanced software solutions that support mission-critical applications with high reliability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with hardware, FPGA, and systems engineering to integrate technologies across multiple product lines, participate in requirements definition, software design/architecture, and software/hardware integration, and contribute to verification. Location is Cedar Rapids, Iowa, onsite, with a comprehensive relocation package available. Security clearance of Secret is required; U.S. citizenship or U.S. person is required.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. person for security clearance eligibility
- ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret)
- degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or advanced degree with minimum years of experience
- minimum 8 years relevant software engineering experience or minimum 5 years with advanced degree
- embedded C and C++ experience
- multi-threaded product software experience
- experience with standard full lifecycle software development practices and configuration management tools
- experience with embedded security software development and integration
