Job Summary
Lead a software application team to design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge defense systems within an Agile environment. Work with engineers, architects, and leaders to oversee software development and sustainment for cloud-enabled systems that ingest, tag, and audit data sets while ensuring security, integrity, and availability. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain team cadence, and remove impediments to support predictable delivery of operationally relevant system capabilities. Travel to customer CONUS & OCONUS sites as required, but no more than 25%. This onsite role in Aurora, CO is contingent upon contract award.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance on day 1
- TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience leading Agile software development teams
- Proficiency in facilitating Agile ceremonies, maintaining team cadence, and supporting predictable delivery
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics and ability to use them to drive team improvement
- Ability to identify and remove impediments that block team progress
- Demonstrated success ensuring alignment with project and product objectives
- Experience supporting both sustainment and new feature development within Agile teams
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience (if holding an Advanced Degree)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience serving as Scrum Master across multiple teams or products
- Knowledge of scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale
- Ability to coach teams in maturing Agile practices and improving flow
- Strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non‐technical audiences
- Relevant certifications (CSM, PSM, SA, SPC, or equivalent)
- Experience with Ruby, SDS or SEAM
