Job Summary
Build experimental computer vision pipelines to improve underwriting analysis by training model pipelines and packaging Hugging Face models as containerized APIs on managed Kubernetes. Ensure GPU compatibility and memory provisioning while integrating with existing labelling workflows. Write clean code, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and lead code reviews to enforce automated testing and security processes. Mentor junior team members and contribute to architecture design within the Analytics Tech engineering group. Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software that solves complex business problems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience packaging and deploying Hugging Face models as containerized APIs (FastAPI) on the managed Kubernetes service
- Ensure GPU compatibility and memory provisioning for large models
- Experience with containerization, CUDA/NVIDIA drivers, dependency management, and EC2/GPU instance workflows
- Previous ability integrating with existing labelling workflows
Desired Qualifications
- Have worked in the development of cloud native solutions, ideally working with AWS
- The experience in working with a GPU
