Job Summary
Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and engineering of systems that predict and remediate manufacturing challenges for customers. Responsibilities include hands-on technical leadership, mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews for ML engineering, ensuring delivery of robust infrastructure and software, and collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and leadership. The role emphasizes adopting cutting-edge technologies and practices to enhance problem-solving efficiency across the AI/ML organization, with a focus on ML model predictions, part geometry data, and customer information to predict manufacturing costs and identify manufacturing partners.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or similar technical roles
- A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (M.S. or PhD) preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience designing, building, and managing distributed computing systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across cross-functional teams
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (ITAR)
