Job Summary
Lead design, development, and maintenance of software applications for LivaNova’s medical device systems within a regulated medtech environment. Responsible for the full software development lifecycle—from requirements definition and architecture through implementation, testing, and release—while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality software solutions that enable safe and effective therapies for patients. Provide software engineering support for products in domestic and international markets; maintain Quality System compliance; participate in code and design reviews; produce and maintain documentation of concepts, designs, architecture, interface specifications, code, and tests. Principal level may oversee multi-departmental projects, lead issue resolution, coordinate vendors, and chair project meetings and design reviews. Occasional travel may be required. Pay transparency: base salary CAD 125,000- CAD 145,000 per year is provided. Welcome to impact. Welcome to innovation.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or relevant experience [BS+14 yr] or [MS + 12 yr] or [PhD+9 yr]
- Proficient in C#/.NET/MAUI; Windows and Mobile Application Development
- Good communications skills both written and oral
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required
