Job Summary
Lead a team of software development engineers, overseeing technical aspects of projects to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to digital strategy. Mentor team members, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and participate in technical design and development. Collaborate with Solution Designers, Engineering Managers, and the Project Manager to identify and resolve issues, evaluate new technologies including AI-assisted tools, and maintain technical documentation. Align technical solutions with business requirements, keep stakeholders updated on progress, and ensure compliance obligations are met with appropriate controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 8+ years' experience as a Senior Engineer or in a similar role, including at least one year in a Tech Lead or team leadership role
- Strong technical skills and experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular (v16+), TypeScript, web development tools and frameworks, relational databases, and software engineering principles and best practices
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), Docker, and Kubernetes
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into actionable solution designs
