Job Summary
Lead Senior Software Engineer to drive the digital transformation of Everpure's Modern Data platforms by designing and implementing highly reliable, high-performance algorithms for distributed systems. Own end-to-end delivery from concept through deployment, resolve complex technical issues as a subject matter expert, and influence system design across teams. Mentor junior engineers and coordinate activities to align with architectural vision, focusing on performance, reliability (six 9's), and scalability in an in-office Santa Clara environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying systems software using languages such as C++, Java, or Go
- In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, operating systems, database internals, containerization
- Demonstrated expertise in selecting methods and evaluation criteria to resolve complex technical issues
- Strong design sensibility and ability to defend architectural choices
- Track record of establishing and assuring adherence to performance requirements, work plans, and schedules
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate technical activities of a project sub-team
