Job Summary
Establish company-wide technical standards and deliver large, cross-team projects end-to-end, from requirements to production deployment. Lead architectural choices and mentor engineers while coding alongside them in small, agile teams using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot. Solve complex problems at massive scale within cloud-native environments on AWS, managing event-driven architectures and microservices. Shape team culture through pair programming and mob sessions to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Deep hands-on experience in backend engineering
- Strong proficiency in Java (or other general-purpose programming languages)
- Solid grasp of clean code principles
- Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-availability products and microservices
- Strong familiarity with cloud-native environments—preferably AWS (or comparable experience with Azure/GCP)
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud workflows
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Ability to articulate technical ideas clearly
- Ability to collaborate effectively across a diverse team
- 3 days / week on site expectation
- Hybrid working structure
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Kotlin (latest versions)
- Experience with Modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Micronaut)
- Experience with Cloud-native systems (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with Event-driven architectures (Kinesis)
