Job Summary
Principal Engineer to drive architectural leadership across microservices and guide strategic technical direction. Responsibilities include designing and overseeing microservices architectures, mentoring engineers at all levels, leading adoption of emerging technologies, collaborating with product management and operations to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring code quality and best practices, and driving process improvements. Requirements include 10+ years of software development, 6+ years in modern OO languages (C# preferred), 3+ years as a technical lead or senior engineer, 4+ years in cloud environments (Azure preferred), and a Bachelor’s degree. Certifications: AZ-900 and AI-200 required or expected to be obtained within specified timelines; AZ-400/AZ-305 and related certifications preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of software development experience
- 6+ years with modern object-oriented languages (C#, greatly preferred)
- 3+ years as technical lead / senior software engineer
- 4+ years in cloud environments (Azure greatly preferred)
- Microsoft AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals Certification (within 60 days if not current)
- AI-200 Certification: Azure AI Cloud Developer Associate Certification (within 6 months if not current)
