Job Summary
As a Principal Software Engineer in Automation for the Diablo team, you will define the technical direction for automation, CI/CD, and build infrastructure across Diablo projects. Responsibilities include serving as a technical advisor, making architectural trade-offs, and modernizing large-scale hybrid cloud infrastructure. Ideal candidates should possess extensive software engineering experience, demonstrated leadership, and proficiency in C# and C++. Responsibilities also encompass mentoring engineers and improving operational practices through data-driven automation.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Demonstrated impact as a senior technical leader
- Deep expertise in C# and C++
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting or interpreted language (e.g., Python, Groovy, Perl)
- Proven experience designing and operating large-scale automation, CI/CD, or build systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or equivalent)
- Strong system-level thinking
- Excellent communication skills
