Job Summary
As a Principal Software Engineer for AI Agent, you will define the architecture and technical strategy to build a customer-facing AI agent, leading its implementation across multiple teams. Responsibilities include defining the evaluation strategy, driving quality and compliance in a regulated environment, and mentoring senior engineers. Required qualifications include extensive software engineering experience, particularly with AI agents, and strong system architecture skills.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years experience building AI Agents or platforms for millions of users
- Strong experience in building production AI Agents, including orchestration, evals, retrieval/grounding, and guardrails
- Strong expertise in system architecture, platform design, and cross-org technical strategy
- Proven ability to lead ambiguous, high-impact initiatives across multiple teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills
