Job Summary
Principal SDET responsible for architecting and evolving automation frameworks and infrastructure, providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and driving automation strategy. Will migrate existing tests and infrastructure onto a modern testing platform, collaborate with development, DevOps, architecture, and QA teams, and lead efforts in automated testing across web applications using Playwright with C#/.NET, REST API testing, SQL data validation, and scalable, ephemeral environments within CI/CD pipelines. Expect hands-on implementation of parallel and distributed test execution, containerized test environments, shift-left testing, and adherence to clean-code and OOP principles, along with technical guidance and documentation to support product quality and delivery efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- BE in Computer Science and/or equivalent
- 8–15 years of hands-on experience in SDET/automation/quality engineering
- Strong experience designing enterprise automation frameworks and scalable automation infrastructure
- Strong programming expertise in C#/.NET and OOP
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (PW) automation
- Strong experience in API automation testing using REST services
- Strong understanding of SQL and database validation techniques
- Experience with Docker containers and containerized environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud-native platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
