Job Summary
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement modern software tools using Agile methodologies. Create detailed technical designs and project plans while implementing solutions that ensure robust, efficient, and secure software performance. Mentor team members on upgrading existing tools and developing new features using C#, VB.NET, Python, TypeScript, and the .NET framework. Manage multiple priorities with a focus on modernizing legacy software and supporting digital transformation efforts. This role requires seven years of experience and is based onsite in San Diego, CA, with a salary range of $120,600 to $180,900. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field
- At least 7 years of experience with C#, VB.NET, Python, TypeScript, and the .NET framework
- Hands-on expertise in database design using Oracle or SQL
- A solid understanding of Windows Forms (WinForms)
- Strong proficiency with ORM tools such as Entity Framework and Dapper
- Familiarity with API development, middleware concepts, and token-based authentication/authorization
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with end users and business leaders
- Experience in modernizing legacy software tools
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
- Knowledge of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles
- Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- This position is 5 days a week in office in San Diego, CA

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with desktop application development using WinUI or other XAML-based frameworks
- Solid knowledge of front-end technologies, including ReactJS and Angular (v17+)
