Job Summary
Lead architectural strategy for BloodTrack Tx across embedded workstation software, native mobile apps, and cloud-backed services. Drive long-term technical roadmap, engineering standards, and core technology adoption (engine, backend, rendering) while ensuring reliable, secure, and regulatory-compliant delivery in high-stakes clinical environments. Perform hands-on innovation through prototyping and high-level code reviews; mentor engineers across platform disciplines; align architecture with regulatory and commercial objectives. Require deep expertise in C/C++, exposure to C#/Java/Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Event-driven and SOA paradigms, CI/CD, high-availability, containerization, SQL/NoSQL, and strong security/compliance background (OWASP, OIDC, SAML2, SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA). A track record of shipping complex products with stable architectures and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineers and executives is essential. Passion for replacing legacy workflows with scalable, R&D-driven solutions; opportunities for leadership and impact across technology and team growth.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering
- 5+ years in Principal or Architect role
- Expert-level C/C++
- Exposure to C# or Java/Python
- JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js
- RESTful APIs, Microservices, Domain-driven design, CI/CD, Event-driven architecture, Service-oriented architecture
- High-availability, containerization, SQL and NoSQL
- Security & Compliance: OWASP, OIDC, SAML2, SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA
- Proven track record shipping complex products with maintainable architectures
- Strategic communicator capable of translating technical concepts for engineers and leadership
