Job Summary
Principal Security Technology Strategist to advance Citrix/Cloud Software Group security solutions across enterprise accounts in North America. The role partners with account teams and the Security Business Unit to deepen security-awareness and DNA, expanding relationships with customers’ cyber security teams. Primary duties include translating security concerns into actionable guidance for audiences ranging from CISOs to hands-on practitioners; delivering security-focused strategy to sales; conducting product demonstrations and remote or on-site presentations; designing multi-product proof-of-concept solutions and guiding customers through adoption and expansion; overcoming technical and competitive objections to accelerate sales and adoption; coordinating cross-functional resources to ensure customer success; staying current on latest security strategies to inform product requirements and roadmap; developing formal relationship networks with key customer decision-makers; contributing to the broader technical sales team’s success with Citrix security solutions; implementing strategic goals and guiding product development and process improvements. Requires experience across presales, enterprise cybersecurity, and cloud/security architectures; travel to customer sites and events; remote/home-office location in North America.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of presales, sales engineer, solution engineer, field CTO, or consulting experience
- 10+ years supporting, designing, or delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions
- Familiarity with application security, browser security, IAM, and ZTNA
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity solutions and design best practices
- Ability to travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands on experience with data protection, digital forensics and incident management, web application security, networking, enterprise browser, remote access, Zero Trust, IAM, web proxy, RBAC, VDI, DaaS, observability, security analytics
- Security Certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP)
- Understanding of cloud security standards such as NIST, CIS, CSA
